Nick Good had a great start to the season in his Glas-Weld Systems and BGC Motorsport
Components backed Pro-ET dragster, it was the first round of the Santa Pod Racers Club
championship over the Easter weekend. With a new car, new team and over 45 cars trying
to qualify for a 32 car field in the Pro-ET class it looked like a tough weekend ahead for the
Wereham based team. But after 3 days of close qualifing Nick emerged as No1 qualifier going
into mondays elimination rounds with a best time of 9.21 secs at 143 mph, incredibly only
two hundreths of a second covered the first 28 cars. After a win in the first round Nick went
out to a red light in the second. Unfortunately rain affected the final days racing with only two
rounds of eliminations being completed. Nick would like to say a big thankyou to Andy Richardson
who stepped in at the last minute as Crew Chief, Mo, Chris and Bob at GB Racing for all their help,
and sponsors A1 Motor Stores, Webster Race Engineering, Hauser Race Cars, Black Bear Harley
