FIA European Finals 2006

Another consistent performance at the FIA European Finals saw Pro-ET drag racer Nick Good move up into second place in the Santa Pod Racers Club drag racing championship. Perfect weather conditions over the fourday event saw record crowds at the Northamrtonshire track.
nick qualified in third place, running just one thousandth of a second off his dial in time of 9.08 seconds. Less than three hundreths of a second covered the first 32 qualifiers in what turned out to be the closest field in the UK drag racing history. Nick went on his second round of eliminationswhere he lost to championship rival Kevin Slyfield.
This weekend, Santa Pod hosts the last round of the 2006 SPRC championship, and with 1000 points up for grabs and only 80 points seperating the first three places, there is everything to race for.
