End of a Season
Posted by admin on 10th October 2006
Nick Good ended the 2006 drag racing season on a high after securing enough points at the Santa Pod national Finals to claim 2nd place in the SPRC Pro-ET drag racing championship.
Although Sundays racing was a wash out due to heavy rain the 130 points earned during Saturdays two qualifying sessions was enough to maintain their championship position. With over 50 cars competing in the championship at five SPRC events held this season, it has been a great achievement for the Wereham based team in its first year. Nick would like to thank crew chief Andy Richardson whose dedication, knowledge and hard work has made the 2006 season such a success, also Hester, Lop and all at GB racing for their help.
Next season Nick is hoping to race in the Super Pro-ET class with a new dragster that is currently under construction, the current 2006 car is now for sale to help fund this. The plans for 2007 season would not be possible without the continued help from local sponsers HRG ltd, Morris Armitage and BGC Motorsport Components. Any other local companies wishing to promote themselves can contact Nick on 07774127244.
